For non-native English speaking
psychologists and therapists

Say Yes! to your
next English-
speaking client.

Clinical Voice is the practice space where you reclaim your professional voice in English, with the same clinical presence you already have in your mother tongue.

A job interview offer comes in.
Or the wish to go back to studying resurfaces, for a master's degree in your new country that you've been watching for a while.
And right there, in a single second, you decide: do I say yes, or do I put it off again?

What it is, and what it isn't

A space for practice, not a language school.

It is

A conversational English practice program, facilitated by a Brazilian intercultural psychotherapist with an active clinical practice in English, for psychologists and therapists who need to reclaim their professional voice in a second language.

It isn't

  • A general English course
  • A language school
  • IELTS or TOEFL prep
  • A technical vocabulary course without real clinical context
Who it's for

Two different crossings, the same destination.

Main profile

You're already living abroad

In your native language, you run a session, name emotions, hold a crisis, give a precise reflection. In English, you freeze, oversimplify, lose nuance. The client notices. You notice.

You haven't lost your competence. It's waiting for your language to catch up to what you already know how to do.

Second profile

You're in your own country, working with clients abroad

Your work already reaches people on the other side of the world. The limit here is access: to literature, international clinical supervision, professional networks, and clients who need to communicate in English.

Now it's time to expand what you can access and offer within that reach.

If you recognized yourself in any of these, this is the moment to decide to say yes.

Yes, this is me
Why me, and not an English teacher

I speak from that place, not from outside it.

Tati, psychologist and psychotherapist, facilitator of Clinical Voice

My name is Tati. I'm a graduate psychologist and psychotherapist, and I've lived in Ireland since 2016. I don't teach English like a teacher. I facilitate spaces for practice because I went through exactly what you're going through.

I built my clinical practice, my therapeutic voice, and rebuilt my professional authority in English, in Dublin, with clients from multiple backgrounds.

I didn't come to Ireland to study English. I came to live, work, and build a career in English, from scratch, moving through very different roles before arriving at psychotherapy. After 20 years in finance, process management, and business administration, I made a career transition into psychology and completed a higher diploma in psychology at Dublin Business School (DBS), followed by a master's in psychotherapy at the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS), completed in 2025. All of my clinical practice, personal therapy, and clinical supervision happened entirely in English.

I don't hold an English proficiency certificate like IELTS or Cambridge. My authority comes from ten years of living, working, studying, and doing therapy in English, in practice, every day.

Why I created this program

I realized that many colleagues, just as good as me or better, hadn't had that same experience. It isn't a lack of clinical competence.
It's a lack of real practice in the language of the profession, the kind of practice that gives you the confidence to say yes when the opportunity shows up.

I wanted to teach what I'd learned, and, honestly, I also needed a source of income that wasn't increasing my number of clinical sessions.

How it works

Six focus areas, worked at your own pace.

There's no fixed sequence. The focus areas adapt to what's actually happening in your life right now, whether it's an upcoming clinical supervision session, a first session with a local client, or a professional recognition process underway.

Focus area

Clinical presence in a first session

Professional introductions, therapeutic contract, confidentiality, and consent.

Focus area

High-precision emotional vocabulary

Understand how and when to use words that express feelings and emotions with the meaning a native speaker intends, like grief or bereavement and mourning, loneliness and solitude, overwhelm, burnout, attachment, belonging.

Focus area

Professional presentation and networking

Learn to understand the vocabulary used in professional training and recognition, clinical supervision, psychological assessments, and more.

Focus area

Sensitive clinical situations

Crisis, risk, urgent referral, without losing clinical presence to a language barrier.

Focus area

Professional recognition

Documents, emails, interviews, equivalency of your professional training.

Focus area

Your migrant client's daily life

Colloquial terms used at work, at school, at the supermarket, in family relationships, the healthcare system, and more.

Each focus area adapts to what's really happening for you, not to a fixed curriculum.

Before we start

Free introductory call and level assessment

Before we begin, we have a call of up to 45 minutes where we introduce ourselves, get to know each other, and I get a sense of whether this program is right for you right now.
The level assessment is part of that same conversation: a portion in English, on a clinical or professional topic, assessed by me holistically.
It's not an exam.

Up to 45 minutes Minimum level: B1 intermediate

About recordings

Each session can be recorded, with your prior consent. The recording, transcript, and session notes are made available afterward in a secure space, so you can review what you practiced at your own pace. In group sessions, recording only happens if every participant consents.

An important boundary

Clinical Voice sessions are not clinical supervision. The focus is language as a tool. Clinical cases may come up as context for practice, but the session doesn't replace your clinical supervision.

Transparency

This is the pilot program. I don't yet have formal case studies or testimonials, and I'd rather be honest about that than invent social proof that doesn't exist. That's why the number of spots is intentionally small in this first cohort.

Other professional fields

This program can also be adapted for people in other fields who want to build confidence and vocabulary for a corporate English environment. Availability for those topics depends on the number of people interested in each specific theme.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before you start.

Do I need an advanced level of English to take part?

No. The minimum entry level is B1 intermediate. The level assessment happens within the introductory call, up to 45 minutes, and confirms whether the program is right for you now.

Individual or group, which should I choose?

It depends on your goal and where you're at. Individual sessions give you full focus on your specific situation. The group, of 3 to 4 people, brings clinical listening practice and exchange with colleagues, at a lower cost per person. A group cohort only opens once at least 3 participants are confirmed. The introductory call helps point you to the right format.

Does this replace a traditional English course?

No. It's not a general English course, nor IELTS or TOEFL prep. It's specialised practice to bring your clinical competence together with real fluency in the language of the profession.

Do the sessions count as clinical supervision?

No. The focus is language as a tool. Clinical cases may come up as context for practice, but the session doesn't replace your clinical supervision.

When does the pilot cohort start?

The date will be confirmed soon, with an estimated window between August 24 and September 5, 2026. At the end of your assessment call, if we agree this is the right program for you, we'll lock in your spot, and you secure your place (with an initial deposit) among the limited spots in this first cohort.

How does payment work?

Both the individual and group formats are billed monthly. Payment details are arranged after the form and the introductory call.

Are the sessions recorded?

Yes, with your consent. The recording, transcript, and notes are made available afterward in a secure space, so you can review what you practiced. In group sessions, this only happens if every participant in the group consents to being recorded.

Next step

Ready to say yes?

Request an Intro Call. It includes a few screening questions to understand where you're at, and from there we'll schedule your introductory call and level assessment.

The first 6 spots in the individual format get the founding-member rate: €30 per session for your first 8 classes.
